Cosmic Kitchen Encounters (2024) is a 3-channel video installation accompanied by an immersive soundscape and a plastic-wrapped sculpture cabinet. Everyday objects like souvenirs, candles, pots, and pans are transformed into otherworldly forms. Filmed up close, grouped together, or heavily zoomed in, these familiar items appear distorted and unrecognizable, shedding their domestic roles. The items take on new meaning under a green filter, evoking an eerie, cosmic atmosphere. The title reflects this shift in perspective, where the ordinary meets the extraordinary, and the kitchen becomes a place of encounter between the mundane and the mystical.
